What happens in an urban Zoo after dark? What’s it like to sleep at the Zoo? Zoo SnooZzz is an exciting program offering school and community groups the opportunity to stay overnight at Melbourne Zoo.

Arrive at 6.00pm and enjoy dinner before heading out in to the Zoo for your night-time adventure. After a good night's sleep under the stars it's up early for breakfast and a special animal encounter, before the experience concludes at 9:00am.

You’re then welcome to stay on to enjoy Melbourne Zoo during the daylight hours.

What is included?

• Night Tour
• Dinner, supper, breakfast
• Camp activities
• Animal encounters
• General admission to the Zoo the following day
• Tents in secure site (mattresses also supplied)

How much does it cost?
Flat rate of $2,592 for up to 24 participants and up to two adults.
Additional students are $108 each and additional adults are $120 each.
Maximum group size is 30.

How many students can I bring?
Maximum number of students: 28.
Maximum group size: 30 (maximum students 28 with 2 adults)
Teachers will be required to allocate students into the supplied four-person tents (2.6m x 2.6m) before they arrive for their camp night.

When do the camps run?
Monday to Thursday during the school terms all year.
This experience is available to students in Grade 3 through to VCE.

What do we need to bring?
Sleeping bag, pillow, warm clothes, torch and a sense of adventure.
