Healesville Sanctuary lies within the traditional lands of the Wurundjeri people. It is an ideal place to learn more about Aboriginal culture and how the land and animals support and protect us all.

Through up close animal encounters, the enacting of Dreamtime stories, and traditional face painting, students can experience some of the rich living culture of the Wurundjeri people. 

If you want to further challenge your students a self guided Learning Log is available that encourages deeper thinking about wildlife and our relationship with the natural environment.
