The amazing documentary series ‘The Zoo' is having an encore season, every day at 5pm on Channel 7.

This documentary program takes viewers behind the scenes at our three zoos: Melbourne Zoo, Healesville Sanctuary, and Werribee Open Range Zoo.

There are also fascinating stories filmed at Taronga Zoo, Taronga Western Plains Zoo, and other major Australian zoos.

The series covers births, transfers of animals between zoos, the development of new exhibits, and veterinary care, and most of all shows the extraordinary bonds between keepers and the animals they look after.

‘The Zoo' is a great look into the teamwork and dedication it takes to deliver top quality care to wildlife.
