At Werribee Open Range Zoo, weekdays are THE days this school holidays. On Monday to Friday, between 11.00am and 3.00pm, you can go wild with an awesome range of special kids' activities. With heaps to do, both indoors and out, let the family get into the safari spirit with:
- Free African drum workshops - Learn the rhythms of the savannah!
- Interactive book readings -A high energy take on some animal classics
- African dancing - Plus some limbo and conga lines
- Singing - Help our performers sing - the louder the better!
- Art activities - Be inspired to draw and colour, see your work displayed on our cool African ‘notice board'
- Musical sculpture - Get out there on the lawn and make some noise
With both supervised and informal activities, there is literally something for kids of all ages.
Continue your adventure on safari when you get close to the big boys of the savannah, including hippos, rhinos and giraffe. Meet our lions or serval cats at special keeper presentations and go eye to eye with cheetah and meerkats on our walking trails.
Kids are free every weekend and all through school holidays so you have loads of reasons to go wild at Werribee.
