- Help fight extinction
Australian endangered species
This program delivers a powerful, active learning experience through challenge-based learning and real life conservation action.
Did you know that Zoos Victoria is committed to Fighting Extinction and that Healesville Sanctuary is where most of our endangered animal breeding programs take place? Come and join us in the fight to save our precious wildlife. In this 45 minute session students meet some of our most endangered animals, learn about our recovery programs and find out what they can do to help.
This program can be extended to 90 minutes to include a behind the scenes tour of our captive breeding programs. Students will have the unique opportunity to see real life conservation action including close up encounters with endangered species.
