Classy Adaptations

Students will join a Zoo educator in classifying animals based on their observable behaviours, various features and specialised adaptations. Students will investigate how an animal’s adaptations assist them to survive and how humans can adapt their own behaviours to support wildlife and wild places.
Classy Adaptations addresses AusVELS levels 5-8 standards. It supports the cross-curriculum priorities of Sustainability and Asia and Australia’s engagement with Asia and addresses achievements in the domains of Science, Interpersonal Development, Personal Learning, Civics and Citizenship, English, Humanities, Communication and Thinking Processes.
