Self Guided - Adaptation Adventurers

Adaptation Adventures – Take the challenge and adapt
This self-guided program has been designed for iPad schools looking for an interactive excursion experience. As Adaptation Adventurers, students will utilise iPads to explore the concept of animal adaptation. They will gain a depth of knowledge through audio podcasts, and by completing hands on iPad activities.
As students progress though this interactive challenge they will collaborate to build an awareness of the impact humans have on animals and their habitats. Students will inquire, explore and discover ways to help aquatic wildlife. At the Zoo and back at school, students will be encouraged to think critically about how they can adapt their behaviour, based on their learning.
Adaptation Adventurers addresses AusVELS levels 4 and 5 standards. It supports the cross-curriculum priorities of Sustainability and addresses achievements in the domains of Science, Interpersonal Development, Personal Learning, Civics and Citizenship, English, Humanities, Communication and Thinking Processes.
