Habitat detectives

Magnifiers in hand students transform into Habitat Detectives and their challenge is to find clues for various animals found within Victorian habitats.

Animals leave all sorts of clues to tell us they have been around. Join us to find these clues in a habitat and use this evidence to determine what animals need to survive. Our young detectives will have an opportunity to meet some animals up close and use their great ideas to determine how the animals grow and change and have features help them to survive in their habitat. This new way of looking at habitats is encouraged for the whole day excursion and knowledge that can be taken back at school.
