Zoos Victoria presents a range of teacher previews and professional development programs that can enrich your teaching skills around wildlife and be used to fulfil the Victorian Institute of Teaching requirements.
Programs can include learning theory and its application to zoo experiences, practical classroom activities, pathways to link to other elements of the curriculum and exploring best practice education for wildlife conservation.
Customised options are also available and can include 2-hour, half-day and full-day sessions, catering, behind the scenes experiences and precinct tours.
We also now have Teacher Memberships available which offers many rich professional development opportunities.
