International Programs & Grants
As human populations increase, wildlife and wild places across the globe are increasingly under threat. Zoos Victoria’s international programs and grants have a holistic focus and work with local communities, governments and non-government organisations. We fight threats to wildlife, develop sustainable alternative livelihoods and encourage support for conservation with communities on the ground achieving sustainable long-term outcomes for people and wildlife.
Protecting Grevy’s Zebra and securing wildlife in the arid rangelands of northern Kenya.
Protecting the world’s most critically endangered crocodile species.
Protecting the Matchie’s Tree Kangaroo and securing wildlife in the remote forests of Papua New Guinea.
