Volunteer

Zoos Victoria's volunteers have played a leading role in defining our organisation throughout its history, now they are a critical element in our plan to fight extinction and achieve our goal of becoming a world leading zoo-based conservation organisation. Volunteers contribute to the success of Zoos Victoria by assisting staff to ensure that our visitors have an enjoyable experience each time they visit one of our three zoos.

Who can volunteer?

Volunteers include a wide variety of people from all walks of life. We welcome students, parents, families, professionals and retirees. The majority of volunteering roles are currently for people 18 years and over.
