Keeper volunteering

Due to the high demand of keeper volunteer request we receive, we have two avenues to undertake and be eligible to apply for volunteer keeping positions at Zoos Victoria.

One avenue is to be enrolled in the tertiary students volunteer program, this program offers limited placements for interested and energetic students who are studying a relevant course.

The other avenue is to be a part of the preferred keeper candidate list, which we recruit to once a year. The last recruitment was in February 2012; we will most likely advertise again in early to mid 2013.
