Be a keeper and go behind the scenes with Aussie animals!

Australian animals are unique. Meet our keepers and find out how we care for these amazing creatures including kangaroos, wombats and koalas. Keeper for a Day participants will work with Sanctuary staff, helping our keepers and learning about one of the most rewarding jobs! These school holidays we are celebrating heroes. Come along and meet our keepers who are heroes in the fight against extinction and animal care and training.

You will go behind-the-scenes, taking part in many daily duties of a threatened species keeper, which could include:

  • Food preparation
  • Animal enrichment
