Meet our Bush Babies
Spring is baby time!
Head to Healesville Sanctuary this spring and meet some adorable bush babies, including Dingo puppies, a Koala joey and many more.
Visit the Baby Burrow at the Australian Wildlife Health Centre to hear stories about the many injured, orphaned and hand-raised babies from the very special team who care for them around the clock - much of the time at home. See baby formulas and milk bottles being prepared in our ‘baby kitchen’ and watch baby animals being fed by their carers.
Our special baby talks should be on your must-see check list! Our expert staff and wildlife carers will share insights into the work they undertake caring for the tiniest, cutest wildlife babies, and you will get a glimpse of the babies in our care - but remember to be quiet as the babies may be sleeping!
Local wildlife carers will be visiting every day of the September school holidays, Melbourne Cup Day and every weekend until 7 December. Come and meet the baby animals in their care and share the amazing work they do alongside Healesville Sanctuary in caring for orphaned, injured and rescued wildlife.
Remind the little wildlife lovers in your family to bring their teddy or favourite toy animal with them for a hospital check-up and receive a Good Health Certificate to take home.
Don’t forget, kids are free every weekend, Victorian Government school holidays and public holidays!
