Healesville Sanctuary is indulging once again in our fabulous Wine and Wildlife Weekend - Queens Birthday long weekend 8, 9 and 10 June 2013.

Enjoy the amazing combination of wildlife experiences with the tastes of the Yarra Valley. Healesville Sanctuary has partnered with Sanctuary Harvest Cafe, De Bortoli Yarra Valley Estate, Napoleone & Co Cider and Kennedy and Wilson Chocolate to come together to create a gourmet experience with a difference.

It's the opportunity to enjoy some great local food brought to you by the Sanctuary's own Harvest Cafe (Healesville Hotel) with indigenous flavours as well as wine, cider, chocolate and cheese tastings against the backdrop of the Sanctuary's rustic pavilions with roaring open fires. Plus, you can feast your eyes on some amazing Australian wildlife.

What's on the menu?
Warming winter homemade pumpkin and lemon myrtle soup complimented by tastings of a fabulous range of De Bortoli wines and Meredith Goat’s Cheese. Slow roasted local lamb with garlic, rosemary and sea salt crust, mint jelly and rocket in a turkish roll complemented by tastings of Napoleone & Co Cider. Sample delicious locally produced chocolate and hot chocolate from Kennedy and Wilson.

Pull on some boots, wrap around a scarf and head out to Healesville Sanctuary for a wonderful day.
