Rocky lives another day

On Saturday an orphaned Swamp Wallaby joey was brought to Healesville Sanctuary’s Australian Wildlife Health Centre. After an initial check and X-rays, our vet team found the little guy had a fractured leg that would need surgery.

International grants currently accepting submissions

Zoos Victoria’s International Conservation Grants program is once again calling for submissions for the third year running. For the first time, 2016 applications will be considered not just on measurable benefits to wildlife but will also look at how the project aims to build social capacity in order to achieve meaningful benefits to local people too.
