Support palm oil labelling on food products
The decision to provide Australians and New Zealanders with clear labelling of palm oil has again been delayed by the Australian and New Zealand Ministerial Forum on Food Regulation.
This is a disappointing result for the 84% of Australians and 92% of New Zealand consumers who support palm oil labelling and fails to give consumers the right to know what is in their food.
It’s time for Australia to join the European Union, Canada and the USA where palm oil is labelled.
Leadership is possible. The Victorian Government has announced they support mandatory labelling of palm oil.
Tell the other Ministers that more than ever, you want transparent labelling.
Thank you for voicing your support and please remember to keep your messages to the Ministers respectful.
