Kinda Kinda tips, terms and conditions


  • Wear flat, enclosed shoes suitable for walking
  • Kinda Kinder is an outdoor all-weather program so please ensure that you have appropriate clothing and sun protection.
  • Multiple bookings are recommended to get the most out of the Kinda Kinder program


Terms and conditions

  • Werribee Open Range Zoo’s Kinda Kinder playgroup is designed and delivered by Victoria University Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood/ Primary) students as part of their teaching placements and not the Zoos Education department.
  • Victoria University students will be supervised by an experienced Early Childhood lecturer from Victoria University at all times and all students have an up to date Working with Children Check.
  • Kinda Kinder at Werribee Open Range Zoo is only available to Members of Zoos Victoria.
  • The age limit for Kinda Kinder is 0-6 years.
  • Activities will be located in various areas around the Pula Walking Trail and these activities will vary from week to week.
  • Kinda Kinder does not include any animal handling components.
  • Victoria University students may require some information about your child/children for their assessments. This information will be confidentially stored by the mentor teacher and students and is not used for any other purpose other than their assessments.
  • Parents or adult guardians must take responsibility for participating children at all times during the Kinda Kinder program and are encouraged to participate in the program.
  • An adult guardian must accompany children with a ratio of 1 Adult to 1 Child.

Cancellation policy

  • Given the limited spaces available for Kinda Kinder, it is important that you attend all of the sessions you that you have booked.
  • If you need to cancel a particular session for any reason, please advise the Sales team prior to the session on 1300 966 784.
  • Due to the demand for this program, a booking will be revoked following three cancellations.
