Nestle Australia is here on the scale
  • Nestlé Australia does not clearly label palm oil
  • Nestlé Australia has committed to Certified Sustainable Palm Oil* (CSPO) by 2015

*As defined by the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO)

A commitment to Certified Sustainable Palm Oil (CSPO) is a great start – CSPO aims to protect wildlife and the livelihoods of producers.

In early 2014 Nestlé Australia told Zoos Victoria that it is now using 100% segregated CSPO in their Australian chocolate factory.

This is an exciting step towards Nestle meeting their time-bound commitment to use CSPO in all their products by 2015.

Not every Nestlé product contains palm oil, but with no clear labels how can you tell?

Thank Nestlé for switching their chocolate to CSPO. You can tell them to keep up the good work by using CSPO in all of their products and labelling them by 2015!
