Zoos Victoria's Volunteer Program is an integral part of the organisation's goal to fight local wildlife extinction.

More than 800 dedicated volunteers are part of the current program and come from all walks of life. We welcome the passion and expertise that volunteers bring to our organisation.

The Volunteer Program spans across Victoria's four zoos; Healesville Sanctuary, Kyabram Fauna ParkMelbourne Zoo and Werribee Open Range Zoo and although the volunteers perform an array of roles, their contribution is vital to improving the individual experience of every visitor.

There are a number of roles available to volunteers, from helping to guide visitors around our zoos to assisting with administration tasks. However volunteering roles do not include direct animal keeping duties.
