Unfortunately this experience is not suitable for mobility scooters, wheelchairs and prams

Back to Healesville animal experiences

Go behind the scenes at Healesville Sanctuary to find out what it takes to feed over 1,400 animals!

Take a special walk through areas of the Sanctuary not usually seen by visitors to discover the work and produce needed to fed over 1,400 animals a nutritious diet.

You’ll discover that it takes quite a team to organise all the different types of food that the native Australian animals in our care need to stay healthy.

Make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes and bring along a bottle of water, sunscreen, and a hat.

Be sure to check in at the ticket office at least 30 minutes prior to your tour to collect your wristband.

Zoo entry not included. Be sure to also book your entry tickets for the same date as your encounter.
