Tour the rainforest with one of the zoo's knowledgeable guides!

Journey through Gorilla Rainforest, one of the most tranquil areas of Melbourne Zoo, to learn about some of our most fascinating primate species.

You'll see the impressive gorilla family, monkey around with the lemur boys of Lemur Island, wander through the habitats of the pygmy hippo and elusive cassowary, take a boardwalk through the treetops and learn how your mobile phone can help protect endangered wildlife.

A not-to-be-missed area of the Zoo, made even more special with the stories from your own personal guide!

Meeting point information: All guided tours depart from the Main Roundabout - Close Up Encounter pick up point. Please arrive five minutes before the tour starts.

Zoo entry not included. Be sure to also book your entry tickets for the same date as your encounter.
