Hear from a zoo expert to learn more about the Helmeted Honeyeater, Victoria’s charismatic bird emblem, and the efforts to protect this incredible species from extinction.

Register your students and join us live using Adobe Connect on a computer (hooked up to a screen or interactive whiteboard) or electronic device. You will watch a live video stream and will need sound to hear the conversation. Students will be able to type questions via a live chat box - no camera or microphone is required.

This student web conference links with the Victorian Curriculum Levels 3-6: Science.

Students will:

  • Hear from a Zoos Victoria expert about what it takes to save the Helmeted Honey Eater and other species from extinction
  • Ask questions stemming from your curriculum focus
