Current global education trends are placing a greater emphasis on the importance of teaching STEM skills and capabilities in our schools. Leading Collaboration in STEM is a two-day professional learning course to help you design authentic and engaging experiences for your students based on real-world problems.
Experts from Monash University and Zoos Victoria will work with you to build on your current knowledge and develop a range of strategies and assessment tools based on the latest research. This short course will also help you to build a collaborative and supportive community that supports the effective teaching and learning of STEM Education at your school.
The course runs for fifteen hours over two days, including an additional one-hour online collaboration session.
This course is for educators at both a primary and secondary level, who are looking to engage and lead STEM education within their school context.
This course is aligned with the following Australian Professional Standards for Teachers (APST): 2.1, 2.2, 3.2, 3.3, 4.1, 6.3 and 7.4.
