Sculpture Exhibit: From Plastic Waste to Art

Showcasing imaginative sculptural works inspired by the beauty of our marine environments. Created by artists from all over Australia every sculpture is made from reused and recyclable plastic waste.

Roving Performances: Giant Seagulls

Tuesday 7 - Sunday 13 January 

Presented by Snuff Puppets, a Melbourne based performance company, these unruly Giant Seagulls scavenge and devour everything in their path. Look out! You might lose your hat or have a hot chip stolen as they fight each other for the finest zoo spoils.

Melbourne Zoo Up Late

WEDNESDAY 1 - TUESDAY 14 JANUARY

For two weeks only, the Zoo is staying open until 8pm with evening keeper talks and a series of marine conservation films and seminars on the lawns.
