Upcoming events not to be missed at Melbourne Zoo
Entries open July 4 and close October 22, 2018
Fancy yourself as a wildlife photographer? Maybe you’ve got what it takes to be the next National Geographic photographer?
Daily at Melbourne Zoo
Each day, we offer opportunities to hear our expert keepers talk about the animals in their care and the conservation work being done for various species.
Fortnightly during school term
Your students can hear from our expert Zoo teachers about the wildlife at the zoo and how we're fighting extinction. Students can ask questions and learn more about conservation.
Friday 4th May, Friday 27th July, and Friday 19th October
Primary and Secondary teachers will be given the opportunity to attend a free professional development day at Melbourne Zoo to support their teaching and learning practice in the Victorian Curriculum area of Ethical Capabilities.
Monthly on a Sunday
Love High Teas? One Sunday each month, we are serving a delicious High Tea in the Rainforest Room. Wander the beautiful gardens, see the amazing animals, then join us and the little tamarin monkeys from 1:30pm. Bookings essential!
