Busy Weekend in Werribee Park Precinct
Create your own adventure in the Werribee Park Precinct this weekend, 14 - 15 January 2017 with a range of special activities and events.
Werribee Open Range Zoo is open from 9am to 5pm daily, with Safari Tours running throughout the day and last entry to the zoo at 3.30pm.
Kids under 16 receive free entry during the Victorian school holidays.
You can also enjoy the zoo in the cool of the evening on Saturday 14 January at Rhythm of Africa, with live music, Ethiopian Coffee Ceremonies and activities for the kids.
Werribee Park will also come to life with So French So Chic on Sunday 15 January and activities are also running at the Werribee Park Equestrian Centre on Saturday and Sunday, so you may like to allow a little extra travel time when visiting the precicnt this weekend.
Traffic controllers will be in place on Sunday 15 January to assist vehicles entering and exiting the Main Drive to the zoo, however there may be some delays on arrival and exit.
Werribee Open Range Zoo has two main car parks, with overflow car parks on busy days. Parking is free – follow directions from parking attendants who will assist you in getting into the Zoo as quickly as possible.
Enjoy the weekend and please take care in the car park and during entry and while exit on the Main Drive, K Road and Duncans Road.
