Come and meet the baby elephant!

18 January 2013

Melbourne Zoo is very pleased to announce that as of Tuesday 22 January, Num-Oi's baby elephant is expected to be on public display from 11.00am to 12:30pm and again from 2.00pm to 3.00pm each day.

Today (Monday 20 January), the hours are 11.00am to 1.00pm.

The little baby has been out and about exploring his new environment and bonding with his mother, Num-Oi and the rest of the herd. We now invite you to come along to meet the newest member of Melbourne Zoo's elephant family.

The welfare of the new baby and his mother is the main priority so if he is having a sleep or needs a rest, he may not be on display at those times. However, there is still plenty to see at Melbourne Zoo, so come out and make the most of the free entry on offer for all children under 16 during weekends and school holidays!
