Our friends at Dental Health Services Victoria are joining us every day from Monday 5 to Friday 9 August, with free dental health checks and other fun activities for the under-fives.

Did you know toothbrushes can’t be put in your normal recycling bin? Bring your old toothbrush with you and we’ll make sure it’s recycled thoughtfully, then pick up a brand new one for free from Dental Health Services Victoria while you’re at the zoo!

Simply head to the African Village from 10.30am - 12.30pm each day for your free dental health check.

After your check, head to Hippo Beach for the Hippo keeper talk at 1.10pm and hear all about how our keepers care for the hippos' teeth!
