Slumber Safari

This multi-award-winning accommodation experience allows you to get close to the action of Africa and makes an ideal getaway with your partner, friends or colleagues. Enjoy a rare opportunity to camp overnight with the animals in the comfort of luxurious safari tents. This is truly an unforgettable ‘Out-of-Africa’ experience.

A fully hosted experience which includes up-close animal encounters, a sumptuous African barbecue feast and an evening of fun around the campfire. Sleep in the luxurious canvas safari tents and awake to watch the savannah come to life while enjoying a delicious cooked breakfast.

Slumber Safaris begin at 3.00pm, but you’re invited to arrive at Werribee Open Range Zoo earlier in the day to experience the Zoo, before you head to the campsite to immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of the African savannah.

 *The above prices are based on 2 or more people per lodge. A minimum fee of $425 applies per lodge.  

Slumber Safari is not offered at a concession rate.

This experience is available for children over the age of 12 years only.
