Elephant Trail Turns One – With Three Calves on the Way

It’s been one year since nine Asian elephants moved from Melbourne Zoo to their new home at Werribee Open Range Zoo and now there’s even more to celebrate!

Three members of the herd – Num-Oi, Dokkoon and Mali – are all confirmed pregnant, with calves expected around April 2027, marking an exciting next chapter for the herd and for Asian elephant conservation in Victoria.

Tiny Adventurers, Big Safari Fun

Hop aboard the Junior Safari Bus, running weekdays at 9:50am outside school and public holidays, for a relaxed and music-filled safari adventure designed for little explorers aged 0–6.
