Tour the savannah with an expert Safari Guide
Enjoy time with friends and family on an adventure through the open-range savannah. Keep an eye out for Werribee Open Range Zoo’s much-loved rhinos Kipenzi, Letaba and Si Si as you roam across the plains past our herds of giraffe and zebras.

Explore the zoo at dusk as you wander amongst meerkats, lions, monkeys, wild dogs, and hippos.

Uganda Wildlife Conservation Education Centre
UWEC is Uganda’s premier zoo, connecting visitors with Uganda’s native species and conservation initiatives through its animal exhibits and education and research programs. UWEC works closely with the local community to assist with wildlife rescues and to provide veterinary support to sick or injured animals.
Sunset Safari helps Zoos Victoria support international conservation partners and sister zoos, including UWEC, to strengthen community engagement and foster actions that benefit wildlife, including the hippopotamus, African wild dogs and Grey crowned crane (Uganda’s national bird).

Werribee Open Range Zoo is only a short 30 minute drive from Melbourne's CBD and is easily accessible via public transport.
