Curious about what Zoos Victoria can offer your students?
Join us on Friday 3 October for Teacher Family Open Day - a free, fun day at the zoo for educators and their families, with opportunities to explore our learning programs and meet our Education team.
Held across all four Zoos Victoria locations; Melbourne Zoo, Healesville Sanctuary, Werribee Open Range Zoo, and Kyabram Fauna Park. This day is designed to help teachers discover new ways to connect their students with wildlife and conservation through our educational experiences, all while enjoying a fun day out at the Zoo.
Bring your family, explore the zoo during opening hours, and take part in a professional learning session tailored for Early Childhood/Primary or Secondary teachers.

What's Included
All day free entry for one teacher, one accompanying adult and unlimited number of children (children under 16 are free in school holidays)
Professional development information session for teachers*:
- 10.30am session for Early Childhood and Primary
- 11.30am session for Secondary
*Please note, children cannot attend these sessions and will need to be cared for by the accompanying adult.
Teachers who attend an information session will receive:
- A one-hour PD certificate
- The first 50 teachers will receive a gift bag
All teachers who attend on the day will go in the draw to win one of eight $250 gift vouchers**.
