After an incredible recovery, a Black Swan was released late last week at Berwick Springs after spending a number of weeks in care at Healesville Sanctuary. The injured swan was brought in for treatment by a local wildlife carer with fishing line hanging out of its mouth.
Twelve Orange-bellied Parrots have arrived safely at Werribee Open Range Zoo after they were given a helping hand to migrate from Tasmania.
The birds were given a thorough examination at Werribee Open Range Zoo, with vets giving the birds a clean bill of health.
