Werribee Open Range Zoo has a range of facilities for families with young children.
The Zoo’s walking trails are stroller friendly and there are plenty of spots to rest along the way.
Prams and Baby strollers can’t be taken on the Safari Bus Tours, but you’ll find a big parking pram bay at the Safari Station.
Children under the age of four can be nursed on their parent’s lap on Safari (seatbelts provided).
Baby change facilities
Baby change facilities are located in the Meerkat Bistro, Ranger Kids and at restrooms around the Pula walking trail, including the Safari Station, African Village and Hippos.
The Meerkat Bistro also has a microwave dedicated to visitor use for heating up milk and food for your little ones.
Our indoor play space Ranger Kids includes a Parents' Room with a comfy couch and rocking chairs, change tables and bottle warmer. There’s privacy from the bustle of Ranger Kids, but a video monitor allows parents to keep an eye on older siblings as they continue to play.
As part of Ranger Kids, the Parents Room is open daily between 10.30am – 2.30pm.
The Pula walking trail has plenty of spots to stop and rest with seating around the trail and large grassy expanses for kids to play at the Safari Station and the African Village. Picnics are welcome and barbeque areas can also be booked in advance.
