Meet one of Melbourne Zoo’s critically endangered Western Lowland Gorillas and the passionate keeper who cares for them.

Unfortunately the Gorilla Experience at Melbourne Zoo is currently unavailable (updated April 2024).

In this exclusive experience, you’ll learn about the complex social order of our primate cousins before going behind the scenes to leave them a snack or two.

Finally, you’ll head to the VIP viewing platform to watch these critically endangered animals enjoy your treats – and maybe even a ‘pleasure grumble’ as they eat!

Your participation will help contribute to Zoos Victoria's work to fight wildlife extinction.
