RESTRICTIONS

All participants require a paid ticket.

Minimum age of 5 years old.

Children under 13 years old must be accompanied by a paying adult with a ratio of 1 adult per 3 children or 2 adults per 4 or more children.

Closed toed shoes MUST be worn by all participants.

This tour is NOT a wheelchair friendly experience.

Fitted face masks are to be worn on all encounters, behind the scenes, tours and in some animal habitats, which will be signed.

Join one of our amazing Melbourne Zoo keepers exploring the trails as the animals wake for the day. Will the lemurs be getting ready for breakfast? Or will our pygmy hippo be taking an early morning swim?

Take a sneak peek behind the scenes before the zoo opens as we share incredible stories of Melbourne Zoo’s transformation from farmland to world-leading conservation organisation. Then finish with a your choice of breakfast item and freshly brewed barista coffee or tea selected from Giraffe Lookout Café.
