Restrictions

Minimum age 8 years. Recommended for children aged 8-15. No external adult supervision needed.

Enclosed shoes must be worn for all experiences. Please Note: Crocs are not considered enclosed shoes.

Not accessible for people with mobility requirements.

In this dynamic and exciting program, experience what it takes to care for the amazing animals at Kyabram Fauna Park. Zoo Keeper For a Day gives children the chance to see Kyabram Fauna Park from a different perspective.

Go behind the scenes to help to prepare nutritious diets, create enrichment items, maintain habitats, feed our animals, and learn about wildlife conservation.

You will have the opportunity to visit places not seen by the general public, and experience life as one of our wonderful zoo keepers.

After a busy morning, budding zoo keepers can enjoy a specially provided morning tea and lunch to refuel their energy.

Zoo Keeper for a Day leaders are experienced, VIT registered educators, and they know how to ensure that participants have a safe, happy, and super fun day as zoo keepers in training.
