Black Friday Sale Terms and Conditions

1. Overview
This Black Friday Sale ("Sale") is hosted by Zoos Victoria (the ‘Zoo’). The Sale offers a 20% discount on all animal experiences and overnight accommodation purchased during the Sale period, as outlined below.

2. Sale Period
The Sale begins at 7.00am on Friday 28th November and ends at 11.59pm on Monday 1st December. All purchases made outside of this period will not be eligible for the 20% discount.

3. Discount Eligibility

  • The 20% discount applies to all animal experiences at Melbourne Zoo, Werribee Open Range Zoo, Healesville Sanctuary and Kyabram Fauna Park and overnight experiences at Melbourne Zoo and Werribee Open Range Zoo.
  • The discount is only available for online bookings or via the Customer Engagement Team (1300 966 784). Overnight experiences can only be booked via the Customer Engagement Team. The Customer Engagement Team operating hours are 9am – 5pm, seven days a week.
  • The discount applies only to the listed full price of the experience and cannot be combined with any other general discounts, member discount, promotions, or coupons.
  • The 20% discount does not apply to general admission tickets, memberships, zoo shop retail product, donations, or any other items sold across Zoos Victoria.
  • The discount is only applicable for available booked date experiences and not valid for Zoos Victoria Gift Cards.
  • Discount cannot be applied to already booked experiences; price difference will not be refunded.

4. How to Claim the Discount

  • Online: Use promo code BLACK20 during checkout on the Zoos Victoria website.
  • Phone: Mention promo code BLACK20 when making a booking via the Zoos Victoria Customer Engagement Team.

5. Refunds and Exchanges

  • All purchases made during the Black Friday Sale are final. Cancellations are only permitted within the applicable product cancellation window.

  • If a customer chooses to reschedule, the new booking date must be on or before 30 June 2026 to retain the Black Friday discount.

  • Reschedules made after 30 June 2026 will result in forfeiture of the Black Friday discount.

  • Rescheduling of animal experiences is subject to availability and must be completed within the product cancellation window. Details of cancellation window can be found at https://www.zoo.org.au/terms-and-conditions/

6. Availability

  • Animal experiences are subject to availability and may be limited during the Sale period. The Zoo reserves the right to limit the number of experiences available for the Sale at its discretion.
  • Experiences and pricing may vary by location.

7. Restrictions

  • Some animal experiences may have age, group size and adult to child ratio restrictions. Customers should carefully review the experience requirements on the Zoo's website before booking.
  • The Zoo reserves the right to refuse participation in an experience if the customer does not meet the required criteria.
  • Please note that if you are unable to participate in your experience due to not meeting the requirements, we are unable to offer a refund or rescheduling.

8. Right to Modify or Cancel
The Zoo reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend this Sale at any time without prior notice, for any reason.
