After 54 years of being unseen, the Victorian Grassland Earless Dragon (VGED), a Critically Endangered species, was rediscovered in 2023. Become a Dragon Guardians member and help support the VGED conservation breeding program at Melbourne Zoo.
Priced at just $88 a year, this membership is perfect for kids aged 15 and under who share a passion for dragons - whether mythical or Critically Endangered – or the many species of dragons seen at Zoos Victoria properties.

As a Dragon Guardians member, you are supporting the Victorian Grassland Earless Dragon breeding program.
