Access and Inclusion Fund
Supporting equitable access to zoo-based learning experiences.
Opens on Tuesday 27 January and closes on Friday 13 February 2026.
Zoos Victoria's Access and Inclusion Fund provides selected schools with:
- Fully subsidised zoo admission and education program for up to 100 students.
- Transport subsidy to contribute towards excursion transport costs - $500 for metro schools and $1000 for non-metro schools
- Free curriculum-aligned teaching and learning resources.
This Fund is available to any school in Victoria that meets at least one of the following criteria:
- Has a school Index of Community Socio-Educational Advantage (ICSEA) rating of 1000 or lower.
- Has faced special circumstances such as drought, flood, bushfire etc within the last 12 months.
- Has not been the beneficiary of the Access Fund in the last calendar year (2025).
The Access and Inclusion Fund has limited spaces and will be closed for the year when fully subscribed. We recommend you read the full Terms and Conditions before applying.
