Wine & Wildlife has been cancelled on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 September

Wine & Wildlife has been cancelled on  Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 September.

In light of the current situation, we have made the difficult decision to cancel Wine & Wildlife on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 September. While this decision does not come easily, we believe this is in the best interest of our visitors, staff and animals.

What does this mean for existing ticket holders?
If you have a ticket to Wine & Wildlife, you do not need to call us. We will be cancelling all event tickets and refunding the ticket purchase onto the card used at the time of purchase.

When the time comes, we can't wait to welcome you back to Healesville Sanctuary to enjoy the beautiful outdoors and of course, the wildlife.

About Wine & Wildlife

To celebrate the 10-year anniversary of Wine & Wildlife, we have teamed up with Fireside Yarra Valley to bring you everything we love about wine, food and winter in the Yarra Valley all in one location, on one special weekend.

Take your pick of the huge Teepees around the Sanctuary and warm up by the roaring bonfire in our Nature Trail area with some live acoustic music. Wander around the Sanctuary while you taste on a delicious drop from some of the regions most prestigious producers.

And the best part? Wine & Wildlife helps Healesville Sanctuary rescue and rehabilitate injured wildlife.

More about Healesville Sanctuary’s work to rescue and rehabilitate wildlife

Healesville Sanctuary’s wildlife hospital, the Australian Wildlife Health Centre, is one of Australia’s largest and our vets and nurses treat thousands of wild animals every year, as well as looking after the health of every animal that calls the Sanctuary home.

Last year, the wildlife hospital treated more than a dozen koalas injured in the Black Summer bushfires, with some needing intensive care for months to heal their wounds, receiving around-the-clock care.

Wine & Wildlife helps Healesville Sanctuary continue this important work.

Fireside yarra valley

Yarra Valley in winter is a very special place. Fireside embraces the moody skies, toasty fires and smoky food, all accompanied by the wonderful wines made in the region. Fireside Yarra Valley gives you the opportunity to experience the Yarra Valley as a local, enjoying the region as those who live here do.
