Member May-Hem is a month long celebration of our amazing Zoos Victoria Members! There will be over $100,000 worth of daily, weekly and major prizes up for grabs as well as added benefits, such as increased discounts. It’s our way of saying thank you to our members for your incredible support.
Promotion runs during regular opening hours of the zoos from 1st May 2026 – 31st May 2026.
Each Zoos Victoria property (Melbourne Zoo, Werribee Open Range Zoo, Healesville Sanctuary and Kyabram Fauna Park) will be randomly giving away daily prizes to Zoos Victoria members. Simply scan your member card, sign up, renew, or upgrade your admission ticket!
Weekly and major prize draws will be conducted from the Zoos Victoria corporate office, and drawn randomly from the pool of entries. Weekly prizes are awarded from the pool of members who visited one of the four zoos in the previous week. Major prizes are drawn from the pool of ALL ACTIVE Zoos Victoria members. Winners of weekly and major prizes will be contacted by email, on the address listed in their membership account.
Lucky winners will be contacted by email, on the address listed in their membership account. Any additional information required for redeeming the prize will be provided when a member accepts the prize by return email. Daily prizes are given out at random at each of the four Zoos Victoria properties (Melbourne Zoo, Werribee Open Range Zoo, Healesville Sanctuary and Kyabram Fauna Park).
Weekly prizes will be drawn each Monday starting 4th May 2026 and ending on 1st June 2026.
The Major Prize draw will take place on Monday 1st June 2026.
We welcome all new and returning members, so any purchases or renewals of membership during May 2026 are eligible for daily prize giveaways, any remaining weekly draws and of course, the Major Prize Draw!
The last day of the competition is Sunday 31st May, 2026.
YES! All active Zoos Victoria members are automatically in the draw to win the major prizes.
Zoos Victoria Memberships are not transferable, and can only be used by the person listed on the membership, so we encourage you to use your special Member May-hem benefit of 20% of General Admission tickets to bring your guests! Plus, if they love their visit, they can upgrade those tickets to membership and enjoy all the benefits for themselves!
Absolutely! Children aged 0-15 join free with an adult membership, so it’s a good idea to add all the children in your household onto your account and scan their membership card for extra chances to win.

Please present all your member cards (digital or physical) for scanning at the zoo entrances for your bonus visit entries. If you don’t scan your member card, we don’t know you’ve visited. You will still be in the major prize draw as an active Zoos Victoria member but you won’t receive your bonus entries for visiting.
If you have lost your member card that is no problem, we can organise a new one for you. Simply log in to your membership dashboard at zoo.org.au/membership to download your digital card straight to your Apple or Google wallet, so you always have it handy!
One unique 20% discount code for animal experiences or overnight stays will be emailed to the Primary Member (Account Holder) on the 1st May 2026. Discount codes can be redeemed by active Zoo Members online or over the phone with our Customer Engagement Team. Overnight experiences can only be redeemed by phone with our Customer Engagement Team, available 9am-5pm, 7 days a week. Discount code can only be redeemed for one transaction of up to eight (8) tickets.
One unique 20% discount code for General Admission tickets will be emailed to the Primary Member (Account Holder) on the 1st May 2026. This code is valid for one transaction only of up to eight (8) tickets booked for the same day. This code may be passed onto family or friends.
If you sign up or renew during May, you will be sent your unique Member May-Hem discount codes within a few minutes of joining.
The 20% retail discount is valid for all active Zoos Victoria Members in store on the 1st and 2nd of May 2026 only. Valid member card must be presented in-store to receive discount.
Emails will be sent the email listed on the primary account holder only, so please ensure your details are up to date and you have not unsubscribed from Zoos Victoria emails. You can also check your junk or spam folders.
If you still do not have the email, please contact members@zoo.org.au and we will resend your code. Please note, Member May-Hem codes are single use only and you will not be issued a new code, you will be resent your assigned codes.
