Member World Elephant Day Celebration Surprise Terms and Conditions

The promoter of this Competition is the Zoological Parks and Gardens Board trading as Zoos Victoria (the “Promoter”) ABN 96 913 959 053, located at the address of Elliott Avenue, Parkville VIC 3052.

1. Entry to the Competition is free with valid membership. 

2. Entry to the Competition is open to all active Zoos Victoria Members. Zoos Victoria reserves the right to require a member to produce identification and / or proof of age.

3. Employees of the Promoter, Volunteers, Zoos Victoria board members and their immediate families, are not eligible to enter. "Immediate Family" of a person means the parents, siblings, children, and spouse or partner (whether legal or de facto) of that person and any person associated with the Competition.

4. The Competition opens at 9am on Saturday 15^th August and closes at 3:30pm on Saturday 15^th August.

5. To enter the Competition, you must be an active Zoos Victoria Member and scan your digital or physical membership card on your visit to Werribee Open Range Zoo. Multiple scans on the same day are considered one entry for the purposes of this Competition.

6. Zoos Victoria memberships are not-transferrable and are only able to be used by the named member on the membership card. Proof of identification may be requested at admission. Misuse of membership will void all entries into the competition.

7. Two (2) winners – will be selected by random draw at Zoos Victoria Corporate Office, Elliott Avenue Parkville, Victoria, on Wednesday 19^th August 2026. This is a game of chance. 

8. Prize 1 is two (2) tickets to an Elephant Experience at Werribee Open Range Zoo, where winner and one guest will go behind-the-scenes for an unforgettable morning with the elephants and their keepers. Experience will be awarded by a pdf voucher, that can be redeemed for any regularly scheduled and available Elephant Experience. Experience must be booked and taken by 31^st December 2026. 

9. Prize 2 is four (4) tickets to an Elephant Wellbeing Walking Tour at Werribee Open Range Zoo, where winner and three guests will join our elephant experts on an small-group walking tour around our Elephant Trail. Experience will be awarded by a pdf voucher, that can be redeemed for any regularly scheduled and available Elephant Wellbeing Walking Tour. Experience must be booked and taken by 31^st December 2026.

10. Both prizes are subject to regular safety restrictions for each experience, including age and ratio requirements. 

11. No component of the prize can be transferred or redeemed for cash. In the event that any of the prizes become unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to provide a similar product to the same or greater value as the original prize, subject to any applicable laws or written directions made under applicable legislation. 

12. The winner must claim the prize within five (5) business days of being notified by email that you have won. Failure to claim the prize within five (5) business days will result in a redraw and you will not be entitled to any supplementary prize or benefit. 

13. In the event a redraw is necessary, it will take place at Zoos Victoria Corporate Office, Elliott Avenue Parkville, Victoria, 3052. 

14. Decisions of the Promoter are final and will be binding on each person who enters the Competition, and no correspondence will be entered into.

15. For all winner’s, the primary account holder will be notified by email with the details listed in the membership account. It is the responsibility of the member to ensure these details are kept up-to-date.
