Zoos Victoria Member Voice Survey Competition Terms and Conditions

Entry is only available to active Zoos Victoria Members (“Members”) who are aged 16 years or older. Zoos Victoria reserves the right to require an entrant to produce identification and/or proof of age.   

Employees, officers (including volunteers and board members) and contractors (and their immediate families) of the Promoter or of the agencies or companies associated with this Promotion are ineligible. "Immediate family" of a person means the parents, siblings, children, and spouse or partner (whether legal or de facto) of that person and any person associated with the Competition. 

How to Enter

1. Entry to the competition is free. 

2. Entrants must complete the online survey sent by email to subscribed members on 18 July 2025. Member contact details must be provided at the end of the survey, and the winner must be confirmed as an active Zoos Victoria member at the time of completing the survey and entering the draw. 

3. The competition is a game of chance, and the winner will be chosen randomly, irrespective of feedback provided. 

4. The competition opens at 9am Friday 18 July 2025. 

5. The competition closes at 5pm Friday 22 August 2025. 

6. The winners will be drawn on Monday 25 August 2025 at Zoos Victoria Corporate Office, Elliot Ave, Parkville 

The Prizes

Four (4) winners will be randomly drawn from all valid entries and awarded one (1) of the following prizes: 

1. Two (2) Zoos Victoria adult membership renewals and up to five (5) free child memberships renewals for all children under the age of 16 from the same household. Valued at up to $318. Prices subject to change 21 July 2025. Visit www.zoo.org.au/membership/ for updated prices.  

2. One (1) $200 Zoos Victoria Gift card, sent electronically to the email address provided.  

3. Two (2) Complimentary Passes to Gold Class movie session at any Village Cinemas or Event Cinemas in Australia. Valued at approximately $100. 

4. One (1) complimentary 3-day Electric Vehicle (EV) car rental from Europcar. Valued up to $600. 

Terms and Conditions  

1. The total retail prize value is approximately $1,200 (AUD), correct at commencement of competition.  

2. The prize will be issued to the winner, upon confirmation of updated details and acceptance of prize. 

3. Zoos Victoria memberships are not-transferrable, and full names and date of birth are required to issue the prize. Membership renewal will be applied as an extension of current membership ticket, and is dependent on the completion of current membership term, including any monthly instalment contract in place.  

4. Zoos Victoria Gift cards can be used for admission tickets, memberships, animal encounters, overnight experiences and in onsite zoo shops. Zoos Victoria gift cards cannot be used at catering outlets.  

5. Village Cinema voucher is valid for two Gold Class movie session admission. Voucher can be redeemed online at villagecinemas.com.au, eventcinemas.com.au or at the ticket box for Gold Class movie sessions at participating cinema locations*. Must be redeemed for the same film, at the same session time. Seating is subject to availability. Please redeem this voucher for two seats to your selected movie session. Not valid for group bookings, special events, movie marathons or in conjunction with any other offer or promotion unless otherwise stated. A surcharge applies for 3D sessions. Booking fees may apply. It is the responsibility of the holder to redeem vouchers for a movie session scheduled on or before they expire. Vouchers are not refundable, not transferable and cannot be sold or exchanged for cash or other gift products. Lost or expired vouchers will not be extended, replaced or exchanged for cash. *Refer to villagecinemas.com.au or eventcinemas.com.au for applicable locations. Not valid for films listed as NFT. Not valid for movie sessions starting after 5pm on Friday and Saturday. 

6. The Europcar prize consists of a single 3-day Europcar rental of an Electric Vehicle (EV), within Australia only. The booking must be made and rental completed by 28 February 2026. The renter must be aged 21 or over and hold a current, valid Zoos Victoria membership. The prize is subject to availability and is valid only at select Europcar locations. The prize is not redeemable for rentals during the following blackout periods: 22 September 2025 – 3 October 2025 and 15 December 2025 – 2 January 2026. The booking must be made and the rental completed by 28 February 2026. Standard Europcar age, credit card, and driver requirements apply. A valid Zoos Victoria membership card and a matching, valid driver’s licence must be presented at the time of vehicle collection. Each rental day is based on a 24-hour period. Extra charges may apply to options you select, if you return the vehicle late, or if you incur infringements or use toll roads. One-way rentals will be assessed on a case-by-case basis and may incur an additional charge. All rentals are subject to Europcar’s standard rental terms and conditions, and will include standard liability. In the event of vehicle damage, theft, or third-party loss, you may be liable for the standard Damage Liability Fee (DLF). Optional Damage Cover Products may be purchased to reduce liability, though exclusions may apply More Info. 

7. No component of any prize can be redeemed for cash. In the event that the prize becomes unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to provide a similar experience to the same or greater value as the original prize, subject to any applicable laws or written directions made under applicable legislation.  

8. All other costs associated with the prize, are the responsibility of the winner.  

9. The Promoter will not be liable for any direct, indirect, special, or consequential loss or damage caused, or suffered by the winner in relation to any person entering into the Competition or accepting or using any prize.  

10. Notification and claiming the Prize. Following the Prize draw, the winners will be notified using the contact details provided by the member in the Zoos Victoria database.  The winning Entrants have one (1) week from the time and date of the notification being sent to respond, provide proof of eligibility, and claim the Prize. If the Prize is not claimed by the winning Entrants within this time frame, the relevant Prize will be redrawn, and any previous winners will forgo all claims to the Prize.  

11. Proof of age may be required to claim each prize and is at the discretion of the Promoter. 

12. The Promoter reserves the right to change these terms and conditions without notice and at any stage during the promotion. 

13. If there is any event that prevents or hinders the Promoter’s conduct of the Competition or the Promoter’s ability to deliver the prize/s to the prize winner/s of the Competition, the Promoter may, in its discretion, cancel the Competition and recommence it at another time under the same conditions or select another winner. 

14. You acknowledge that the Promoter is under no obligation to exercise any of the rights granted to it by these Terms and Conditions and any communication of your entry to the public by the Promoter is at the complete discretion of the Promoter. 

15. You agree that the Promoter may use your entry, any personal details and photographic material related to the prize provided to the Promoter for any promotional, marketing and publicity purposes of the Promoter in any media without notice and without any fee being paid to you. 

16. The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this Competition, or for any technical error that may occur in the course of the administration of this Competition. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries. 

17. Decisions of the Promoter are final and will be binding on each person who enters the Competition, and no correspondence will be entered into.
