Werribee Open Range Zoo

Dino Explorers

Dino Explorers

Dinosaurs are back from extinction for a limited time only at Werribee Open Range Zoo and kids aged 5 and above have the opportunity to join our Dinosaur Rangers in a one hour guided expedition!

  • Begin your expedition at the Zoorassic gates where you will meet your Dino Ranger.
  • Collect your Dino Explorer badge and set out with your Ranger to look for clues to discover nearby dinosaurs.
  • Journey with your Dino Ranger through the wetlands to come face-to-face with life-size dinosaurs. See how you measure up and discover what made them unique and who their living relatives are.
  • Finish with a fossil dig activity and head out to explore the rest of the Zoo!

Dino Explorers runs for 60 minutes at 10.45am, 12.00pm and 1.30pm on weekends and school holidays. Book your place before you visit to avoid missing out!

Dino Explorer ticket excludes general zoo admission.
