RESTRICTIONS

Minimum age 5 years.

Participants aged 5-12 are required to attend with a paying adult.

1 adult per 2 children, 2 adults per 3 children. Children aged 13+ do not require adult supervision.

Enclosed shoes must be worn.

Upgrade your visit to Melbourne Zoo and say g'day to a kangaroo!

In this exclusive experience, our knowledgeable keepers will guide you through the kangaroos’ exhibit while you make friends with this famous Australian animal.

Each experience will be unique, allowing our keepers to let the individual animals shine and give them the choice to control how they participate.

The behind the scene is a brief experience that lasts a couple of minutes with each visitor booked, however please plan up to 15 minutes to meet your host and keeper, and hear the safety briefing.

Zoo entry not included. Be sure to also book your entry tickets for the same date as your behind the scenes.
