Snow Leopard Experience

For a limited time only, meet the Snow Leopards that call Melbourne Zoo home!

Start your behind-the-scenes journey at the heritage food preparation area & see how we cater to our Big Cats' dietary needs before embarking on a journey down Carnivore Trail and entering through a hidden doorway for an intimate experience with our Snow Leopards. 

Meet Kang-Ju or Miska and perhaps even our four adorable Snow Leopard cubs. Learn all about their individual personalities and behaviours from their passionate and knowledgeable keepers. Watch as our Snow Leopards choose to participate in their daily training session or interact with provided enrichment (this may vary on the day).

Learn about how we care for these incredible animals, the steps being taken to protect them in the wild and how you can help native species in your area.

Please note: Whilst we will endeavour to include the cubs in all experiences, they are still growing, learning & integrating into their new home So, this may not always be a possibility on the day.

Each experience will be unique, allowing our keepers to let the individual animals shine and give them the choice to control how they participate. By participating in this experience, you will help support efforts to protect these endangered animals.
