Let your tastebuds guide you through Melbourne Zoo after dark on a roving culinary adventure featuring a five-stop tasting journey created by Compass Group National Executive Chef Leo Gstrein and Melbourne Zoo executive chef Asif Mamun.

This is not a sit-down dinner. Instead, guests will travel through the zoo in small groups, led by guides on a carefully curated journey through several unique locations as the sun sets and the zoo transforms for the evening.

The experience begins with a series of elegant bite-sized canapés before leading deeper into the zoo for a progression of seasonal dishes inspired by Australia’s remarkable natural pantry. Along the way, expect a mix of native ingredients, premium seafood, chef-driven creations and substantial hot dishes prepared across a variety of stations and settings.

Each stop reveals new flavours and a new perspective on the zoo at night, with drinks, interactive food moments and surprises along the way.

The evening concludes with a playful dessert experience before a final reveal of sweet creations and live entertainment under the stars.
