Photography at the Zoo
A full day of hands-on wildlife photography at Melbourne Zoo.
Join us for a photography workshop created for young people who are passionate about animals and keen to learn how to photograph wildlife. Guided by Zoos Victoria’s award-winning photographer, you’ll explore different camera types, build practical skills and try out creative techniques around the zoo.
Throughout the day you’ll photograph animals up close, experiment with composition and movement, and learn how to use light, shutter speed and aperture to improve your shots. You’ll head home with new skills, new confidence and a set of images you’re proud of.
